Weeknight lights, a 3G surface, and a ball rolling into space ahead of you. You go, and the studs grab the artificial grass instead of skating across it. The Nike Superfly 11 Elite is the cleat for the speed player whose pitch is synthetic. The AG-Pro plate is tuned to bite the green carpet, the Air Zoom forefoot snaps you forward, and the high collar locks your ankle so nothing comes loose at top pace. These are artificial grass soccer cleats built to fly.

Top-End Speed, Re-Tuned for Artificial Grass
Think of a sprinter who spent years on a cinder track, then switched to a synthetic one. Same legs, same stride, same finishing kick. The surface changed, so the spikes changed, and the speed carried straight over. That's what the Nike Superfly 11 Elite does on artificial grass.
The Mercurial line is Nike's fastest, the cleat Mbappe and Ronaldo chase defenders in, and this is the version engineered for the green carpet your league actually plays on. You still get the explosive first step. You just get it on the surface under your feet.
Why the AG-Pro Plate Bites the Synthetic Surface
Anyone who's played on 3G knows the fear: you plant to cut, and the cleat slides half a foot before it catches. The AG-Pro plate fixes that. Its studs are hollowed out so they grip harder, denser synthetic turf instead of skidding across the top, and there are extra studs across the forefoot so you can change pace mid-run and trust your feet to hold. You spot the gap, you push off, and the ground gives you back the energy you put in. That confidence to commit fully is the whole point of artificial grass soccer cleats made for the job.
Locked In at Full Pace
Speed is useless if your foot moves around inside the cleat. The FlyWeave Ultra upper wraps your foot from heel to toe for a tailored hold, and under the forefoot the Air Zoom unit and ZoomX foam give you Nike's highest energy return, so every stride snaps back. This is the High collar, so the Dynamic Fit cuff seals your ankle and keeps everything connected through hard cuts. Want the same speed on dry natural grass instead? Check the Superfly 11 in the Nike Mercurial collection.

FAQs About Nike Zoom Superfly 11 Elite AG Cleats
These are AG cleats. Can I wear them on natural grass or turf?
They're built for artificial grass, the dense synthetic surface a lot of clubs train and play on now. You can wear them on dry natural grass in a pinch, but the AG-Pro studs are shaped to bite synthetic, so on real grass, you lose a little of that grip. For natural grass, the Superfly 11 Elite FG is the match; for old-school rubber-pellet turf, look at a TF version instead.
Does the Superfly 11 Elite AG run true to size?
For most players, true to size. The FlyWeave Ultra upper is a snug, speed-fit cleat by design, so if you have a wider forefoot or wear thick game socks, try it on with those socks before you commit. The fitting room in Pasadena is open until 8 pm if you want to size it in person.
Is the high collar worth it, or should I get the low-cut?
The high collar is a feel preference, not a performance must. The Dynamic Fit cuff seals your ankle and gives you a connected, locked-in sensation through cuts, which a lot of speed players love. If you don't like anything wrapping your ankle, the low-cut Superfly gives you the same plate and upper without the collar.
Superfly or Vapor for a winger on artificial grass?
Both are Mercurial speed cleats, but they feel different. The Vapor 17 is more minimal and barefoot-light for instant separation. The Superfly adds the Air Zoom unit and a more structured upper, so it's a touch heavier but returns more energy on repeated sprints. If your game is sustained, repeated attacking down the flank, the Superfly is the pick.
