Mexico National Soccer Team Jerseys, Apparel & Gear
El Tri opens the 2026 World Cup at Estadio Azteca on June 11, the third time the stadium hosts the opener and the first since '86. The Mexico jersey on this page is what the team walks out in, what a quarter of LA wears in shifts, and what the diaspora has been counting down to for forty years.
Verde for hope, blanco for unity, rojo for the blood of the nation; this is the Mexico 2026 World Cup jersey. This is what you'll wear when they play.

Mexico's Three Kits for the 2026 World Cup
adidas has built three shirts for this cycle, each with its own job. The Home is bold green with the Piedra del Sol Azteca print across the chest, a direct homage to the 1998 France kit ABA Sports made for Hugo Sanchez's generation. The Away is clean white with a subtle pre-Hispanic Mesoamerican graphic and the adidas Trefoil in tricolor. The Third is black with an all-over Aztec "MX" pattern, built in collaboration with Mexican brand Someone Somewhere and the rural women artisans of the Sierra Norte de Puebla. The "Somos México" block sits under the collar.
The Mexico 2026 Third kit was added to the adidas Archive in Germany as the first handcrafted federation piece ever placed there, alongside some of the most iconic pieces in sports history. Stadium runs $99.99, Authentic runs $149.99. Both carry the official FMF crest, both carry the holographic licensing tag.
The 2026 World Cup at Estadio Azteca
Mexico opens against South Africa on June 11 at Estadio Azteca, the same matchup that opened the 2010 tournament. Sixteen years on, the stadium becomes the first in the world to host three Men's World Cup openers (1970, 1986, 2026). Group A goes through Korea Republic in Guadalajara on June 18 and Czechia back at Azteca on June 24, where Mexico wears the white Away as second-named team. Up to five home matches if El Tri tops the group. Knockout could go SoFi Stadium in LA, AT&T Dallas, MetLife in New Jersey for the final on July 19.
The Squad and the Manager
Javier Aguirre is in his third World Cup as El Tri manager, with Rafael Marquez on the staff before he takes over for the 2030 cycle. Captain Edson Alvarez anchors the double pivot. Hirving Lozano stretches the wing. Santiago Gimenez at striker after the Feyenoord-to-Milan move. Raul Jimenez carries the veteran weight from Fulham. Henry Martin and Alexis Vega compete for the second striker spot. The Mexico jersey has worn legends: Hugo Sanchez at the 1986 Azteca tournament, Cuauhtemoc Blanco through the late '90s, Rafael Marquez across five World Cups as the only Mexican to ever do it. The current chapter is theirs to write.
Why El Tri Means More in LA
LA County has more Mexicans than any city outside Mexico City. The Rose Bowl in Pasadena has hosted El Tri friendlies for decades. When Mexico plays at the Rose Bowl, the green stands aren't an away crowd. They're the home crowd. The 2026 Mexico jersey isn't fan merch. It's the flag a city wears in shifts.
